Our story

A boutique hotel
of six rooms.

Where every guest is seen, and every stay is a little quieter than the world outside.

The idea

Come as a guest, leave as a friend.

Villa del Sorriso is a boutique hotel of six rooms in Monte San Giusto, in the Italian region of Le Marche. Where many larger hotels add more rooms, we chose a different path.

We believe people long for calm, for authenticity, for human encounters, for time together. We wanted Villa del Sorriso to be a place where that longing is met.

Our wish is simple: that you leave feeling better than when you arrived.

Le Marche

The quiet Italy.

We are in Monte San Giusto, a small hill town in the province of Macerata — halfway between the Sibillini mountains and the Adriatic sea, and a world away from anywhere with a queue. The countryside here is patched with olives, wheat and vine; the light is long and clear; the food is honest.

Hospitality

A family, not a front desk.

There are three of us running the house — and we're often four, or five, when cousins arrive to help. We cook, we pour, we hand you the keys and the picnic basket, and we sit down with you when it feels right.

Slow living isn't a slogan here. It's what happens naturally when nothing is trying too hard. Follow our mornings in the olive grove, the long table at dusk, and the small rituals of a slow Italian summer.
