Villa del Sorriso is a family-restored country house above Monte San Giusto, a quiet medieval town in the province of Macerata. Its stones have watched over the same olive terraces for generations.
We kept the house small on purpose. Mornings begin with coffee under the fig tree; afternoons unfold beside the pool; evenings gather slowly around one long table, lit by candles and the last light over the hills.

The swimming pool
A stone-edged pool set into the terraces, looking out over the olive trees and, on clear days, the Sibillini mountains.
Pizza evenings
Twice a week we fire up the outdoor oven — dough proved since morning, tomatoes from the vine, hands-on if you like.
Bicycle rental
Country bikes and e-bikes for the white roads that wind down to the Adriatic through vineyards and quiet villages.
The Garden Table
One long table,
candles & fireflies.
Our kitchen leans on what the garden gives that morning and what our neighbours grow — handmade pasta, wood-fired pizza on set evenings, and the local Verdicchio poured cold.
